All about PEACHES in Palisade, CO

If you haven't tried them, you must! Palisade, CO is known for Vineyards, Orchards and Peaches! Local Orchards, Fruit stands, Restaurants and Wineries include peaches in their businesses and it is no surprise why!

Peach Festival starts this weekend and it is not one to miss. August 11th-13th, 2022.

We thought we would share some of our favorite ways to eat, drink and celebrate with peaches. In addition to all the festivities during the event, peaches are showcased all year long!

Palisade Peach Punch - Carlson Vineyards

• 2 bottles Carlson Vineyards Peach wine

• 12 ozs frozen cranberry juice concentrate

• 1 tsp lime juice or more to taste

Directions

Mix ingredients together, chill for 1 hour and enjoy with friends.

Add some frozen peach slices to it, that's our favorite!

If you haven't tried any of the Carlson wines... you need to!

They have a Palisade and a Downtown Grand Junction location to enjoy.

Sweet Kiwi Bakery never disappoints and whether you are craving a treat or a drink, they have you covered. Peach Cheesecake is a favorite but you can't go wrong with anything in their case! Peach lemonade or a Peach cobbler latte will quench your thirst too!

Hot Tomato is a gem all year round but when the "The Peach" pizza (peaches, mozzarella, Canadian bacon, Gorgonzola and fresh rosemary) is in season, you must act quickly and call ahead to make sure you don't miss out. They have limited quantities every day but you won't be disappointed by ANYTHING on the menu!

If you won't be able to go to the Peach Festival this time..... You can find plenty of delicious peach options weekly at the Farmer's Markets!
